Yuletide Season Generally Peaceful
The Batangas Police Provincial Office under the leadership of PCOL Atty. EDWIN A QUILATES, Provincial Director is indeed proud to proclaim that the celebration of Yuletide Season in the province of Batangas has been generally peaceful. However, there were two recorded incidents of indiscriminate firing. Notably, there were no casualties reported caused by the said incidents. Also, there was no recorded injuries involving firecrackers.

On the other hand, this Office conducted operations against illegal firecrackers and unauthorized sellers to prevent cases of injuries and damage brought by these devices during the Yuletide season. The amount of seized firecrackers was estimated to more or less P 31, 095.00. Further, the confiscated illegal firecrackers were destroyed on January 3, 2020 at Camp Gen Miguel C Malvar, Batangas City.
“With the stricter implementation of President Duterte's E.O. 28, it has been relatively successful that there were no injuries recorded this season. As reflected on the number of confiscated firecrackers by this Office, only few violated the said Order.
