Batangas PPO Set Up Decontamination Tent at Gate Camp

To prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 inside Camp Gen. Miguel C Malvar, a decontamination tent/zone was installed in the entrance of the Camp upon the instruction of the newly installed Provincial Director, PCOL REX ARVIN TORRES MALIMBAN. Every person and vehicle entering the Camp is required to pass through the said tent and will undergo decontamination/misting process to prevent the possibility of transmission.

The misting process only takes seconds. While decontamination is performed to ensure the safe entry and exit of everybody, every individual is still required to practice strictly social distancing, personal hygiene and use of mask inside the camp. Duty personnel also use alcohol-based disinfection to clean and disinfect the hands and continue to check the temperature of all individuals after passing through the decontamination zone.
