 San Juan MPS Search Warrant yielded High Powered Firearms

 

On the report of PMAJ MARLON C CABATAÑA, Chief of Police of Sanjuan MPS to PCOL EDWIN A QUILATES, Provincial Director, Search Warrant for violation of R.A. 100591 was implemented by joint personnel of San Juan MPS, 403rd MC RMFB4A, 2nd MP 1st Coy PMFC this morning, March 14, 2020 in Sitio Maquitib Brgy. Quipot, San Juan, Batangas which resulted to the arrest of the suspect and confiscation of high powered firearms and ammunition.

 

The suspect was identified as Rosendo Alcantara y Aguilar , 44 years old, (DOB-March 5, 1976) married, carpenter and resident of Sitio Maquitib Brgy. Quipot, San Juan, Batangas

 

Recovered pieces of evidence were: one (1) Cal. 30 M2 US Carbine, SN# (deface) loaded with one live ammunition for Cal. 30 Carbine, one (1) long magazine for Cal. 30, one short magazine for Cal. 30, thirteen (13) live ammunition of Cal. 30, one (1) Cal. 38 revolver with defaced serial number, twenty two (22) live ammuniton for cal 9mm, six (6) live ammunition for Cal. 45, two (2) short magazines for cal. 45, one (1)black magazine holder for cal. 45 and one (1) firearm holster for cal. 45.

 

Suspect was apprised of his constitutional rights and brought to San Juan District Hospital for physical examination. Said station is preparing necessary documents for filing of appropriate charges against the suspect.###piobatangasppo
