“Byaheng Kapitolyo”
PCOL REX ARVIN T MALIBAN, Acting Provincial Director, together with PCPT HAZEL L SUAREZ, Chief PIO, during the radio program dubbed as “Byaheng Kapitolyo” aired at DWAL FM 95.9 Radyo Totoo hosted by Mr. Jun Magnaye and Ms. Jenny Aguilera of PIO Capitol Batangas held on May 1, 2020 at C. Tirona St., Batangas City
Discussion generally focused on the Batangas PPO security measures in the strict implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine as well as Operational Accomplishments and PCR activities during ECQ period.
Further, PCOL MALIMBAN discussed the difference between Enhanced Community Quarantine and General Community Quarantine. He also shared the following BPPO PCR activities in support to the government’s social amelioration:
a. Kapwa Ko Sagot Ko or Adopt-A-Family Program which aimed to support indigent families in providing them food packs or grocery items and financial assistance good for at least one-week; and
b. “Puhunan Ko para sa Iyong Pagbabago” project to support our BELOVED (drug surrenderers who graduated from SIPAG program) sustain their needs and further established a lifetime livelihood.
Lastly, PCOL MALIMBAN enjoined the public to support the government approaches to combat the COVID-19. On the other hand, PCPT SUAREZ provided hotline numbers for Batangueños seeking guidance and forwarding concerns about COVID-19 and other related matters.
